THE START OF A GREAT HISTORY

Álvaro Duarte Mora, founder of Industrias Partmo LTDA., started operations with 4 machines and 8 men to manufacture oil, fuel, air and water interchangeable element filters in motor vehicles and agricultural and industrial machinery applications in 1962.

Filtros Partmo S.A.S., leader in Colombia in filtration solutions for oil, fuel, air and refrigerants for all kinds of engines has presence in more than 12 countries in Latin America.

OUR HISTORY

In the 70’s, in more extensive installations, new product lines (sealed threaded line) are developed and the product portfolio is expanded.

For the 80’s specializes in the filtering and filtration market for all types of diesel engines, consolidating a leadership, which continues today in the region.

In the 90s, a technological restructuring arises under a plan of investments, projects of expansion and continuous improvement of its processes, together with the continuous growth of the people that integrate it. It changes its business name to Industrias Partmo S.A.

In 2001, Industrias Partmo became the first filter company in Colombia to certify its Quality Management System under the International Standard ISO 9000.

In the same year it opens a new manufacturing plant in Bucaramanga, Colombia, specialized in the manufacture of filters for the light sector, heavy air and mesh elements, which covers the domestic market, as well as the international demand, with presence in more than 12 countries of America.

A HISTORY OF SUCCESS

As part of the business strategy, Industrias Partmo was acquired by Donaldson Company Inc. in September 2016, strengthening the strategy of growth in the spare parts business, expansion in national and international coverage, strengthening the portfolio of products and capacity of manufacturing of liquid and air filters in South America.
This integration brings together highly complementary businesses that add their strengths through their human talent and capabilities, offering products and services, which in addition to achieving a greater presence in new market segments, generate value to our customers, distributors and partners.
